25. Do the Android, iOS, and Desktop versions of LEADer work the same way?
Not exactly. While all versions of LEADer CRM—Android, iOS, and Desktop/Web—are fully synchronized and share the same customer data in real time, there are differences in how certain features function due to system limitations.
Android:
Android provides the most complete automation. Salespersons benefit from call pop-ups during and after calls, automatic SMS with their digital business card, and automatic logging of call activity into the CRM. This makes Android the most seamless choice for users who want maximum automation with minimal manual work.iOS (iPhone/iPad):
Apple’s iOS is a closed system that does not allow apps to access call logs or SMS data, which prevents LEADer from offering the same automations available on Android. To bridge this gap, LEADer provides a special iOS Extension:After a call, open the call log or contact record.
Tap Share contact.
Select Open in LEADer.
The lead’s details are then imported directly into LEADer and automatically added to your Last Activity list. While this process is manual, it is quick, secure, and fully compliant with Apple’s privacy guidelines.
Desktop/Web:
On the web and desktop apps, telephony features such as call pop-ups or automatic SMS are not available. However, all actions performed on Android—like captured calls, lead creation, tagging, or tasks—are synchronized instantly with desktop and iOS. This means that managers and team members using the desktop can still view and act on the same updated lead information in real time.
Bottom line: LEADer delivers the same core CRM functionality across Android, iOS, and Desktop, but advanced automations like call pop-ups, business card SMS, and automatic activity logging are exclusive to Android. iOS users have a streamlined extension-based workflow, and desktop provides full oversight and collaboration. Together, all platforms stay perfectly in sync so that every team member has access to the same up-to-date data.
